Entry 9

Dates: 10/8/11, 10/15/11, 11/14/11
Activities: Wedding and senior portrait editing
Technical Information: DSLR cameras, tripods, light detectors, remote flashes, Adobe Photoshop
Reflection: Tammy was very generous in providing Lindsay (her other intern) and I with senior portrait sessions. Lindsay did her first session at Duke Gardens and I did mine in Boone while Tammy and I were staying there for a wedding. However, Lindsay and I did our second session together in downtown Raleigh. It was so much fun for all of us to get to go out and take images together without the stress and time restrictions of a wedding. Lindsay and I also took turns taking pictures of each other while one of us was modeling. Lindsay and I also got the opportunity to edit our own senior pictures. This is one of the things about my internship that makes me proud. Not many people get to say that they edited their own senior pictures the way they like them. Another thing about my internship that makes me proud is knowing that there are couples that have purchased and love the coffee table books I created. It’s a great feeling to know that something you have designed will be looked through and cherished for rest of their lives as they reminisce the day of their marriage.
